Peace Officer Memorial Group

The Peace Officer Memorial Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose programs and services are funded by donations. Inspired by a line from the poem on the California Peace Officer Memorial, "Alas my name, no more my face", the Peace Officer Memorial Group was formed in 2002.

POMG helps families attend memorials and supports them through food, monetary contributions and any other way the board of directors finds necessary. It also meets with law enforcement spouses in order to raise their awareness and prepare a support structure so that in the event of critical incidents, they have someone they can turn to.

POMG strives to increase law enforcement awareness of these sacrifices and to keep peace officers thinking of the situations and keeping the bereaved families in their hearts.
